It should take place after copy editing and formatting, and will catch any errors in formatting, as well as any typos that have not previously been corrected. A proofreader will also use the style sheet provided to you by your copy editor to ensure there are no errors in continuity or consistency.

Our children’s book editing services will help ensure your book is free from typos and grammatical errors while also helping with sentence flow, rhythm and meter, and rhyme where applicable. Formatting for your children’s book includes interior layout, front/back matter, and one trim size. We can place text over illustrations, but we do not provide the illustrations themselves. Services will be charged at our hourly rate with a minimum charge of two hours of work. The final product will be a print-ready PDF.
